Iraq – Sulaymaniyah celebrates “A Day for All” to recognize people with disabilities
On the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, some special education graduates from Sulaymaniyah conducted events and artistic activities under the slogan “A Day for All” in collaboration with the Civil Development Organization. The event featured a fashion show, songs and music, face painting, a paintings gallery, and medical examinations with the participation of children with disabilities and autism. Some human rights centers and organizations seek through such events and activities on this day, to educate people about the importance of this category, especially children, to support, look after them and consider their disability as part of their lives.
