Iraq – Independent Candidates and Parties Lost the Election Constitute the ‘Iraq Bloc’

A group that consists dozens of civil parties’ candidates and independents that lost the recent parliamentary elections launched the first preparatory conference for from Baghdad and the provinces, to form an alliance under the name ‘Iraq Bloc’ The bloc is a new future political project that rejects the negative aspects of the political process. The participants in the bloc asserted that it was based on their sense of injustice that was practiced against them after the announcement of the preliminary elections results, and that their rights and the rights of their nearly four million voters were taken away, accusing the Commission, the government and political blocs of practicing corruption and confiscating the votes of their voters.
