Iraq – Second Autumn Festival Kicks off in Support of local production
Events of Second Autumn Festival for local national products were launched in Sulaymaniyah province north of Iraq, hosted by the district of Chamchamal, in support of the local product. More than 120 farmers and producers, and a number of various industrial and handicraft projects owners, participate in these events. The festival is scheduled for one week. A number of participants in the festival called on the government to support national production, and give it preference over foreign goods imported from abroad, especially from neighboring countries, and set a protection program for these important national products. The participants considered such festivals as an opportunity for them to introduce people to their organic products.
