With the commencement of Halloween preparations in Iraq’s Kurdistan, which occurs on the first of November of every year, children go to the stores where bizarre and terrifying costumes and masks are sold to celebrate the festival. Halloween supplies stores in Sulaymaniyah witness a low turnout and a considerable decline this year compared to previous years, owing to Kurdistan’s economic crisis and Covid’s controlling measures.
