Iraq – For the first time globally, the rarest masterpiece of King Narseh to display
The pavilion of King Narseh was launched in the Sulaymaniyah Museum, which bore the title of Vasorg Shah Armenian (“Great King of Armenia”). The museum displayed 5 statues of him that were built in his honor from 293 to 297 AD. King Narseh is the first Sassanid king to have large-sized statues of him. The museum also displayed stone pieces containing the longest Sassanian royal text in the world, as it represents the most important and rare piece in history, and there is no copy of it in the world. The pavilion was opened in the presence of the Italian and Iranian consuls and many cultural and social figures.
