Jordan – Jordanian Press Association Election Results Release

Yesterday, Friday, general assembly elections of the Jordanian Press Association were held amid preventive measures that meet health protocol. Accordingly, Jordanian Press Association Elections Committee announced the results, where ‘Journalist Rakan Al-Saeedeh’ came in the 1st place of 321 out of 947 votes to become the President of the Jordanian Press Association:, and ‘Journalist Tareq Al Momani’ came in the 2nd place with 301 votes, while ‘Journalist Falha Brizat’, who obtained 277 votes had the 3rd place. Participation rates of the General Assembly of Journalists in the elections reached 83 percent, with 947 male and female journalists out of 1,142 eligible to vote, scoring the highest percentage in recent years at the level of all Jordanian occupational associations.
