Tunisia – Tunisians Await judicial decision on parliament’s parties
Tunisians are waiting for judicial courts consideration of the parties’ files, parties that have participated in 2019 parliamentary elections. Court of Audit in charge of following up all electoral violations report confirmed that political parties had obtained foreign funding, and that they succeeded in the elections by illegal means. Despite the parliament being suspended, observers of Tunisian political affairs considered this matter necessary, while others believe it is a method to completely adjourn the suspended parliament.
