Yemen – Shaheen Tropical Cyclone Floods Al Mukalla in Yemen

One death in torrent floods and heavy rain in Al Mukalla City, Hadhramaut Governorate, South East Yemen after the Tropical Cyclone Shaheen hit the Arabian Sea.

The floods inundated main streets and deluged into homes, and left the city of Al Mukalla areas and alleys isolated for several hours.

As Torrents sweep away dozens of private vehicles, and heavy rains also caused a power outage in many areas of Mukalla, while old historic houses in the city, Al-Salam, and Shaheed Khaled neighborhoods were severely damaged.
