With the approaching Iraqi elections, which will be held on October 10, the pictures of the candidates are filled at the entrance of the Ashti camp for the displaced, in the Sulaymaniyah governorate, where voters are preparing to vote for members of the Iraqi parliament. A number of the displaced people stated that they do not trust the slogans raised by the candidates especially that they made promises in the past to return the displaced to their homes, but they were not implemented even after 7 years of their displacement. It is noteworthy that most of the displaced people in the Ashti camp are from Salah al-Din Governorate, which numbers about two thousand families.
