Iraq – “Al-Mayahi”, an artist combined plastic art with the theatrical appearance

It is said that art is limitless, and this is what the Iraqi artist, Thaera Al-Mayahi expressed when she moved from Basra to Sulaymaniyah 15 years ago in a boat full of painting, sculpture, and beautiful works, to be anchored in the “Folklore” exhibition that reflects the past life between the melodies of love and belonging to the home. Thaera was born in Basra city, and a graduate from the Academy of Fine Arts, theatrical department, but she integrated theater and plastic art, as she demonstrated the Iraqi woman with strength, courage, and romance despite the pain and suffering she went through during the war in Iraq.
