The process of educating girls in the governorate of Taiz, southern Yemen, faces many difficulties that have led to a noticeable increase in the phenomenon of girls dropping out of schools in the Yemeni countryside in recent times due to the distance of schools from residential areas and the spread of early marriage in the rural community, not to mention the war that destroyed tens of schools and converted some of them To military barracks, forcing many girls to leave education and stay at home, as they are unable to continue their education in other schools, and the dropout rate of girls from schools in rural areas reaches 50% for the secondary stage students, where the majority of schools in Taiz suffer from a shortage of Educational supplies.
