Iraq-Optimism in Iraq Following Al-Kadhimi’s visit to Kuwait

Following Al-Kadhimi’s visit to Kuwait, Iraqi political experts were pleased and optimistic, especially that the prime minister met Kuwaiti high officials and was summoned to attend a leaders’ summit in Kuwait. The two sides agreed to form a political committee for addressing stalled issues, especially in regard to Iraq’s debts, accumulated during its war with Iran. The prime minister’s visit also paved the way for more Kuwaiti investments that will revive Iraq’s poor economic reality, not to mention that it will lay the ground for realizing stability in Iraq and the neighboring countries
