Iraq – Iraqis opinions with the commencement of early election campaigns
The propaganda of the candidates for the upcoming parliamentary elections began to appear timidly in the streets of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, where the opinions of political analysts and citizens varied about the election candidates. Some explained that there is clear grumbling and disappointment among the Iraqis towards the elections and the candidates who participated in the previous parliamentary sessions for their failure to legislate laws in the interest of the people, while others were counting on independent candidates and the new elites to bring change. More than 3,200 candidates will participate in the elections, which are scheduled to be held on October tenth, competing for 329 parliamentary seats distributed over 83 electoral districts.
