Iraq – The Iraqi National Theater: Together we build a secure future for the Iraqi’s children

A month after it had been postponed, the National Theater held a central celebration on Iraqi Children’s Day, entitled “Together we build a safe future for the children of Iraq”, the celebration was attended by several officials and delegates of Save the Children International. The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Adel Al-Rikabi, emphasized that childhood in Iraq faces many challenges due to the living conditions, which prompted an increase in child labor indicators as a result of the destitution and poverty under which their families suffer, adding that the government is awaiting the parliament’s legislation to protect this segment from homelessness, deprivation, and loss.
