Jordan – King of Jordan receives Iraqi Parliament Speaker

On Monday, Jordan’s King, Abdullah II, received, at Basman Palace, Muhammad al-Halbousi, Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament. The meeting discussed the results of the last tripartite summit in Baghdad, and the method of implementing it locally, as well as the latest regional developments, especially the efforts of the Iraqi government in fighting terrorism. The King, during the meeting, emphasized Jordan’s full support to Iraq in maintaining its unity and improving its security and stability.
