Jordan – National campaign to clean up public parks to start

The national campaign for public cleanliness in all governorates of the Kingdom entitled “Our mission is to protect our environment” started today in Amman. Prime Minister Bishr Al-Khasawneh, stated, during his sponsorship of the campaign, the importance of preserving the environment as a way of life, stressing the importance to raise awareness about wrong practices that harm the environment and tourist places. Coinciding with the campaign, the law began to be applied to perpetrators of indiscriminate dumping violations.
