The Yemeni riyal saw a new collapse against foreign currencies, in the temporary capital, Aden, southern Yemen, where the price of one US dollar surpassed the barrier of one thousand Yemeni riyals. According to financial sources, the price of the dollar in Aden and the areas of legitimacy reached 1006 riyals per dollar for sale and 996 riyals for purchase, in unofficial transactions, while the Saudi riyal also reached 265 for sale and 262 for purchase; this comes despite temporary restrictions imposed on the foreign exchange sector in Aden.
