Iraq – Concerns over the increase of the Covid-19 cases in Erbil

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Health in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Aso Muhammad Amin, stated that the region witnessed an increase in the number of Covid positive cases, with many critical cases, and thus a rise in the deaths toll, adding that citizens should hurry tp take the vaccine, and follow preventive measures, especially in closed places. For his part, the spokesperson for the Health Directorate, Bjar Mahmoud, urged tourists to adhere to preventive measures in tourist places that are constantly overcrowded.
