Palestine- Clashes Between Palestinian Security Forces and Protestors Broke out Following the Death of Nizar Banat

Hundreds of Palestinian citizens took to the streets of Ramallah to protest the death of the Palestinian dissident “Nizar Banat” while he was under the Palestinian security forces’ arrest. Incensed protestors held banners denouncing the heinous crime. Howls of protests clamored for forming a government of national unity and for holding legislative and presidential elections. Protests escalated to clashes with the security forces who fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters to disperse protestors
