Yemen: Incensed Masses Continue to Rally Against Rampant Corruption and Poor Services in Taiz

In light of the invincible siege imposed on Taiz, which is the most populated place in Yemen, and amid a lack of basic services, thousands of incensed protestors gathered in front of Taiz governorate headquarter to rally against rampant corruption, clamoring for holding corrupted politicians accountable. Howls of protests called for real reforms and for ousting the local authority. The local government’s attempts to mollify the street demands by dismissing a number of corrupted politicians was lashed out by many who demanded dismissing them all and prosecuting them. Moreover, protestors called upon the president of the Republic of Yemen to appoint new leaders with no bias to any party
