Iraq: ISIS Expels Christian Families from Mosul
In the war-ridden region of Mosul, the number of Christian families has been declining from one million and a half to only 300 thousand. According to Suraya Cultural and Media Office’s official, Nuzad since 2003 large-scale displacements have been taking place. However, as ISIS swept Mosul, numerous families were coerced to leave. Nuzad added that the rising flow of displaced Christians is due to various factors including ISIS threats, instability, and disastrous economic status quo
