Iraq – The Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs and his Iraqi counterpart makes statements about the Palestinian issue
The Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Riyad Al-Maliki, met with his Iraqi counterpart, Fuad Hussein, at the headquarters of the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs after arriving in Baghdad on an official visit and meeting with the presidents of the republic and the ministers. There the two signed a joint convention on the Palestinian cause and the outcome of Al-Maliki’s meeting with Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi. Al-Maliki stated that the meeting was fruitful and constructive in providing Iraq’s support for the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people, and he condemned the aggression carried out by the Israeli forces in Gaza. In response, Iraqi Foreign Minister, Fuad Hussein stated his country’s official stance denouncing the violations committed against innocent people in Palestine.
