The sheep shearing season begins in the Kurdistan region, with high temperatures, as livestock keepers in the village of Moriyas in Halabja governorate carry out operations to shear sheep, to prevent them from dying or contracting disease. He mowed their livestock from February until mid-September, as the process needs to be repeated every year. In turn, the wool mowing operator, Gharib Amin, confirmed that the wool was sold in the past and its yield is good, but the markets stopped, and it was no longer worth anything, so they were forced to burn it.
