Iraq – Covid isolates Baghdad from the rest of the governorates on Eid ul-Fitr
The streets of Baghdad appeared almost empty without traffic in some areas following a curfew imposed by the Joint Operations Command one day before Eid ul-Fitr for ten days, the decision led most shops to close and had repercussions on the people’s preparations for Eid al-Fitr, in terms of shopping and the difficulty of visiting relatives.
