Iraq- Iraqi Minister of Foreign Affairs Holds Talks with Aboul Gheit on Baghdad’s Ties with Tehran and Ankara
In a press conference attended by the Secretary-General of the Arab League – Ahmad Aboul Gheit and the Iraqi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fuad Hussein, the latter stated that both sides discussed the country’s ties with Ankara. The minister also added that the instability that engulfs Syria affects our region. Aboul Gheit praised the Iraqi active role in the Arab League, adding that he was keen to pay a field visit to Iraq before Ramadan. Moreover, he underscored the fact that the Arab league is in a critical phase given the lack of fund and the gloomy conditions that swept some Arab countries
