Iraq – The Great Mosque serves Iftar to more than a thousand people daily
The Great Mosque in Sulaymaniyah has stated preparing “The Mess of Mercy” in Ramadan, distributing Iftar to the needy people, poor, displaced, and refugees. The rich and the well-off people of the city donate to the mosque to prepare Iftar meals, which are prepared by volunteers. The mosque provides about 1000-2000 daily meals for fasting people from all sects.
