Iraq: Spring Revitalizes the Flower and Ornamental Plants’ Markets in Baghdad

As the spring wind blows, plant nurseries’ owners pointed out that there is a high demand on buying ornamental plants and various flowers given the fact the soaring population growth in Baghdad forced people into living in small flats instead of having a house with an outside garden. Owners of nurseries indicated that they sell various kinds of imported and local ornamental plants. It is worth mentioning that working in the profession was inherited from fathers to sons and this is manifested by the numerous plant nurseries and florist shops dispersed all around Baghdad
