Iraq: Kurds Celebrate Nowruz Holiday By Carrying Fire Torches

Hundreds of families gathered in Sulaymaniyah to celebrate the annual Nowruz festival. To mark this special occasion, Kurds carry fire torches while climbing mountains. In the Nowruz celebration, attendants enjoy their time by listening to Kurdish traditional songs and dancing dubbkeh.  Moreover, they wear unique folklore costumes with glaring colors.
