Iraq- 1357 Girls Decided to Wear the Hijab At Once
In Halabja governorate, “The Golden Crown” festival for wearing the Hijab was inaugurated in its 7th edition, with 1357 women who decided to wear the Hijab this year. The coordinator of the event, Joan Hassan illustrated that the festival was held to mark the World Hijab Day. The Kurdistan Student Development Organization is in charge of arranging the festival that targets girls from 14 years old to 25. The coordinator pointed out that the total number of girls who voluntary resolved to wear the Hijab since the outset of the project reached 10 thousand girls from different areas of the region
