Iraq: The Resurgence of ISIS in Iraq is Related to Iranian Presence in Iraq

The US-led international coalition hailed the elimination of Abu Yasser al-Issawi- a senior ISIS figure, in a joint operation with Iraqi security forces. Civil activist Saeed Al-Zarqan illustrated that it wasn’t possible to liberate the rest of the regions, confirming that some ISIS hotbeds are still active. Political observer Saeed Al-Shammari blamed pro-Iranian militias in Iraq for their indecision in pushing for wiping out ISIS.
