Iraq – Demands to stop the prosecution of journalists

The Constitutional Article 38 coalition, which includes dozens of media and civil organizations, activists and journalists, called on the president of the Supreme Judicial Council to stop issuing arrest warrants and stop the prosecution against journalists and activists, which increased during the past few days and began to pose a threat to freedom of expression and violate laws and regulations. This came during a press conference that was held in the Tower of Babel for Media Development in the Iraqi capital Baghdad.
