An archaeological city dating back to more than 2,500 years BC was discovered in Kasbat Bastaki, east of the city of Dohuk in the Kurdistan region, after three years of exploration by the Kurdish-German joint research teams, which analyzed clay tablets that revealed information about the missing Assyrian city called “Mardaman”.
