Syria – After liberating Al-Baghuz, the SDF prepare to take control of the last bastions of ISIS in the east of the Euphrates

As part of the campaign of Asefat AL-Jazeera (island storm), which aims to liberate the countryside of Deir al-Zour from ISIS, the Syrian Democratic Forces recently managed to take full control of the village of Al-Baghuz on the Syrian-Iraqi border at the eastern banks of the Euphrates River. Now ISIS has control only over the villages of Hajin, Shaifa and al-Sousse, which is the last and most important bastion of the organization in eastern Syria, and the forces are preparing to control them.
