Yemen – Concerns about another Cholera outbreak

In war-torn Yemen, fears are mounting that the cholera epidemic is coming back. Thousands of people, especially children, are vulnerable to the disease as the rainy season enters and the cities are polluted. The United Nations considers the crisis in Yemen the worst humanitarian crisis in the world, with more than 1 million people suspected of having cholera in the country since 2016, which has claimed more than 2,000 lives.
