Iraq – The start of the special voting process in the Kurdistan region

The special voting for the security forces and the Peshmerga forces began today for the Iraqi parliament elections. Voters gathered in front of polling stations in the city of Erbil in the form of queues to enter polling stations and participate in the voting process. The number of voters in the special voting process in the Kurdistan region, which precedes the public voting, was around 247 thousand voters in the Iraqi parliamentary elections, where the process of voting is done electronically for the first time in Iraq. Voters expressed hopes that their candidates would win the constitutional and legal rights of the people of Kurdistan.
