Iraq – Displaced Yezidis complain about polling stations of parliamentary elections

Despite the approval of deploying 61 polling stations in IDP camps for 15 camps in Dohuk governorate where the polling will be conducted, as confirmed by Dohuk’s Office Director of the Independent High Electoral Commission. However, there is a number of displaced Yezidis in Sharia camp in Dohuk that will vote in centers outside the camps, as they complained that the centers are in Sinjar and other areas that are far from their current place of residence, in light of the lack of money which prevents them to practice their right to vote, while at the same time some of them indicated that they will vote for those who work to provide employment opportunities for young people, and work to return them to their liberated areas and end their suffering in the camps, as well as search for abducted Yazidis.
