Libya – Launching a project to develop health care centers in Libya

The World Health Organization (WHO) representative in Libya, Jafar Hussain, announced the launch of a project to develop health care centers throughout Libya supported by the British government and the World Health Organization in cooperation with the Libyan Ministry of Health to improve access to primary health care throughout the country by providing high quality services. This came during a press conference held in the Libyan capital Tripoli, in the presence of the UN Special Envoy to Libya, Ghassan Salama, and a number of Libyan officials and British diplomats in Libya.
