Palestine – Palestinian factions: Determining the transfer date of the US embassy is a violation against Palestinians

After the American administration officially announced the transfer of the US Embassy to Jerusalem in May in conjunction with the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Israel, the Palestinian factions condemned the decision because of its disregard for the Arab and Islamic worlds as it is a challenge to the feelings of Muslims all over the world. The spokesperson of the Hamas movement, Fawzi Barhoum, stated that the American decision constitutes a flagrant violation of the rights of the Palestinian people and Islamic holy sites, stressing the importance of a strategy based on the choice of resistance in all its forms, and the restoration of Arab, Islamic, popular and official depth for the Palestinian cause to thwart these schemes.
