Turkey – A demonstration in front of the Russian consulate in Istanbul in protest against the massacres of al-Ghouta

At the invitation of the Syrian civil society organizations, dozens of Syrians from all factions of the Syrian opposition held a demonstration in front of the Russian consulate in Istanbul in protest against the Russian and Syrian shelling of civilian areas in the eastern Gouta of Damascus, which resulted in killing and wounding hundreds of civilians, blaming Russia for all the massacres experienced by civilians in eastern Ghouta. The participants raised flags of the Syrian revolution and banners to support the people of al-Ghouta. They also chanted slogans like “Ghouta is free”, “Russians are out”, and “We support Ghouta until death.”
