Libya – High-level delegation visits the shelter center of the railway station in Tripoli

A high-level delegation from the African and European Unions as well as the United Nations visited the shelter center of the railway station in Tripoli in order to identify the situation of the illegal immigrants and to continue to deport them to their countries of origin by the International Organization for Migration and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. They also aim to address the situation of those who do not wish to go back to their countries by deporting them to temporary centers in the state of Niger and then classifying them and deporting them to another country thereafter.
