Palestine – A strike in Gaza to protest against the deteriorating economic situation

The Palestinian factions held a press conference today in the Gaza Strip to announce a trade strike, warning that the living conditions in the sector are about to explode due to the deteriorating economic situation witnessed by the sector at all levels. The factions also called on the international community to stand and provide assistance to the besieged sector, and they called on  the Palestinian government to take its responsibilities and abolish all punitive measures that it has taken against the citizens of the Gaza Strip. The Gaza Strip witnessed a comprehensive commercial strike today, as the shops were closed and the traffic stopped for a quarter of an hour to protest the humanitarian crisis.
