Iraq – Continuous power outage in the old city of Mosul exacerbates the suffering of its people

The suffering of the people of the old city in Mosul is exacerbated by the continuous power outage in their areas, which have been devastated by the fighting witnessed last year in the city between the Iraqi forces and ISIS armed members.  The people of the area depend on the local electricity generators, which increases the burdens on the citizens who suffer from difficult economic conditions. The residents are calling the government agencies to solve the electricity problem and return it to all neighborhoods of the old city, like other areas of Mosul.
