Iraq – Rubble and remnants of war delays the return of life to the old city of Mosul

The rubble and remnants of war are one of the main reasons that hinder the return of the people of the old city on the right side of Mosul to their homes. The city is known for its old buildings and narrow alleyways, and the people called on concerned authorities to remove the rubble and recover the bodies and remnants of war from their city. For his part, the director of the Old City in the Municipality of Mosul, confirmed the continuation of municipality workers to remove rubble from the city, noting that the process of lifting the rubble will go through several stages in light of the lack of the number of machinery used for the process.
