Palestine – Siege prevents the export of Gaza flowers to Europe

In light of the Israeli siege imposed on the Gaza Strip for more than 10 years, the cultivation of flowers, which is one of the local and international agricultural products, is facing difficulties and obstacles due to the closure of crossings and preventing their export to European markets, causing a decline in the cultivation of roses and flowers in the sector. The reduction of the number of areas allocated for cultivation caused great losses to farmers who depend on the European markets in the export of their products.
