Jordan – A march in central Amman against price hikes demanding the dismissal of the government

Amman-Jordan 2018/2/3 

At the invitation of the leftist and nationalist parties, national forces and personalities, a march was launched with the participation of hundreds of citizens after Friday prayers from Al-Husseini Mosque towards Al-Nakheel Square in downtown Amman under the slogan “No to price hikes … No to the freedom confiscating government”, in protest against the government’s economic policies and price increases. During the march, participants chanted slogans against the House of Representatives for their participation in the government’s economic decisions, demanding the dissolution of the Council, the dismissal of the Jordanian government, and the retreat from raising prices.
