Libya – About 240 illegal immigrants are rescued off the western coast of Libya

The Libyan Coast Guard has rescued about 240 illegal immigrants from African and Arab nationalities off the coasts of Zawia and Zuwara in the west of the country and took them back to Abu Sitta naval base in Tripoli. This comes after the boats that were carrying the migrants become unable to complete the journey due to the weather conditions.
