Iraq – Anbar police holds a celebration marking the 96th anniversary of its founding

On the occasion of the 96th anniversary of the establishment of the Iraqi police, the Anbar provincial police held a celebration in conjunction with victory over ISIS in the province. The local government praised the role of the police in liberating Anbar and safeguarding the civilians inside cities. The ceremony also included a military parade for the Anbar police forces and other events that embody the role of the police in fighting terrorism.
