The Yemeni forces and the Southern Resistance Committees supported by the Arab coalition forces controlled the road between the Directorate of Hays and the Hamili Front in the province of Hodeidah in the western coast of Yemen, and cut off the road from the Irfan Bridge and Al-Dhami area which belongs to the Directorate of Hayes. The clashes resulted in killing and wounding dozens of Houthis, and a military source pointed out that the forces have made great progress in the west coast of the province, stressing that the forces will continue to progress in all districts of Hodeidah to expel the Houthis.
