High seafood prices in Gaza causes slump in fish market.
The Palestinians of the southern coast of Gaza are reluctant to buy fish after the rise in its price due to the limited fishing area imposed by Israeli forces.
Gaza residents struggles are increasing and they are now unable to buy fish even though it is considered a very popular dish due to its high prices and the inability of fishermen in fishing good numbers of fish. The struggles are due to the siege imposed by Israel on Gaza as well as the shooting on fishermen and boats that crosses the limit of the fishing area.
This case made fish to be available to the high class only and Gaza people are hoping that it could be available for the middle and poor classes who cannot buy the fish and include it in their meals.
