Yemen: Abdel Karim body scars is a witness to the Houthi practices against prisoners

Taiz – Yemen 18/12/2017 

The prisoner, Abdel Karim Al-Shammari, resides in the psychiatric and neurological hospital in Taiz province due to the torture he was subjected to in Houthi prisons for more than two years, he was released with a number of prisoners in the exchange of prisoners between Houthis and Yemeni forces in Taiz several days ago. Abdelkrim suffers from deteriorating health conditions with the scars of torture still visible on his skinny body, the doctors pointed out that the torture received by Abdul Karim had a significant impact on his physical and psychological health and may take a long time to recover
